The department has well qualified and experienced staff. The department is enriched with the laboratories of de facto standards. All the laboratories are equipped with various latest software and current hardware configurations. The available software's are Windows Xp, Windows 2003 Server, Red Hat Linux Enterprise, JAVA, Visual Studio 6.0, Oracle9i, Linux, Microsoft Office 2007 etc. The Department looks after the computer maintenance of the entire campus of the institute. The students of department are trained in Computer Programming for engineering applications to meet the IT Industry challenges.
