About Department

The Diploma in Agricultural Engineering Department, established in the year 2021 as a specialised and special- purpose engineering application branch in the field of modern Indian agricultural operations. This is one of the high- value asset and commercially operating self-sustainable department in the Institute which approved by Department of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra, AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to MSBTE , Mumbai. It nurtures the students to become a professional agricultural and food engineers who will be addressing issues of ethical and social impacts of agricultural engineering. Department is consistently working through research & demonstration of innovative technologies of the verticals of soil-water conservation-irrigation-processing & harvesting technology for agriculture produce-farm power & mechanization-IoT-Controlled farming-food linkages to achieve the targets of doubling the farm income and standardization of living of farming dependent stakeholders and youth
