Agricultural Engineering

Agricultural engineering is one of the sub-fields of engineering. In simpler words, it is a fusion of agriculture and technology. India is an agro-based country which explains why the agricultural sector and its allied industries are so high in demand. This demand has led to the development of agricultural engineering courses where students learn about the Indian agricultural system and its encounter with technology. The growth prospects in the agricultural sector have increased the appeal of this course. 

Civil Engineering

One of the oldest engineering disciplines, civil engineering is the applied science of physics and mathematics to address the infrastructural needs of human civilization. This includes construction engineering, bridge engineering, highway engineering, and the basic maintenance of roads, canals, dams, and buildings.  

Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering combines the fields of electrical engineering and computer science to create new computer hardware and software. They're involved in the design of computer architecture and function across roles as software and hardware engineers. 

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering involves researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic equipment used in various systems. Electronics and Communications engineers also conceptualize and oversee the manufacturing of communications and broadcast systems. This stream of engineering deals with analog transmission, basic electronics, microprocessors, solid-state devices, digital and analog communication, analog integrated circuits, microwave engineering, satellite communication, antennae, and wave progression. It also deals with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits, and communications equipment. 

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is the study, design, development, construction, and testing of mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. Mechanical engineering careers center on creating technologies to meet a wide range of human needs.

Mechanical engineering subjects include automobile engineering, manufacturing engineering, power plant engineering, thermal engineering, and mechatronics engineering, which is a combination of electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering.
